A pale peach colour with lots of shine.

Nez

Fruity with various aromas of mango, peach and grapefruit.

Bouche

Fresh, fruity flavours of mango and peach and a silky grain texture on the palate. A rather supple and fruity finish with a nice length and citrus aromas.

Accords Mets-Vin

Perfect for an aperitif, starters from the South of France (tomato carpaccio), Provençal cuisine, or Asian dishes like sashimi.

Ideal tasting temperature at 10°C. Tip: Put your rosé in an ice bucket with water and ice cubes rather than in the fridge.

Vinification

The quintessence of rosé, Terres de Berne is elegant and tasty. The fresh and fruity expression in the mouth dominate. A night harvest with sorting of the grapes, followed by direct pressing (several hours of maceration depending on the plot), allows the finest juices to be selected, (both first presses and hearts of presses). Delicate settling, the reincorporation of filtered lees, and high fermentations between 14 and 18°C, allow for a more intense aromatic complexity in the final blend. Aging in vats on fine lees accompanied by daily stirring is also a key component.
