Book Le Petit Livre du Sommelier

350 pages of advice, 349 AOCs, 129 vineyards, and 35 grape varieties for wine enthusiasts.

Few people allow themselves to talk about what they are enjoying, but that's not the case for Gwilherm de Cerval . The main thing is the present moment, pleasure and friends!

Discover this young sommelier, an avid admirer of the French vine and its professions, in his offbeat and poetic journey through the grape varieties, their colours, the regions, their flavours and French hedonism. An uninhibiting and scholarly book, abundantly illustrated with drawings and maps created by Jean André.

Once upon a time there was a domain...

Mr. Chapoutier

It all started in 1808 with the creation of Maison Calvet et Compagnie, located rue de l'Hermitage in Tain. In 1897, Marius Chapoutier joined forces with Rodolphe Delépine to found the Delépine et Chapoutier company. The wines are exported to Holland, Switzerland and Germany. Then in 1929, at the foot of the Hermitage hill, Marius created the new M. CHAPOUTIER winery. In 1937, Marius' son Marc took over the business. Today, with Mathilde and Maxime, a new generation joins Corinne and Michel Chapoutier to perpetuate the tradition of a family House.
