Bière de la Rade La Barrac' IPA

From an independent micro-brewery, La Bière de la Rade was created in the center of Toulon. Building on her past experiments, she has retained her adventurous spirit, while pushing the limits to constantly be creative and innovative. Aware of the current challenges, La Bière de la Rade respects and brings together organic farming and the environment.

La Barrac' , a powerful and wild IPA , was developed in partnership with GP Pelizzaro (Manager of Caps du Sud, Beer Merchant). Its 4 varieties of hops and its 3 Dry Hoppings* give it its inimitable aromas and bitterness!

*Dry Hopping, is the process of adding hops, usually secondary, to a beer to give it a hop aroma. Authentically made for beer styles like IPAs and Pale Ales.

Mr. Chapoutier

It all started in 1808 with the creation of Maison Calvet et Compagnie, located rue de l'Hermitage in Tain. In 1897, Marius Chapoutier joined forces with Rodolphe Delépine to found the Delépine et Chapoutier company. The wines are exported to Holland, Switzerland and Germany. Then in 1929, at the foot of the Hermitage hill, Marius created the new M. CHAPOUTIER winery. In 1937, Marius' son Marc took over the business. Today, with Mathilde and Maxime, a new generation joins Corinne and Michel Chapoutier to perpetuate the tradition of a family House.
