Grape variety(ies)

Rolle, Ugni-blanc

Dress

Beautiful, intense yellow with green reflections.

Nose

A relatively intense and complex nose gives way to notes of ripe exotic fruits and pear, with a touch of almond.

Mouth

A soft, fresh mouth, almost oily that offers a fleshy and seductive attack of white-fleshed fruits, lightly embellished with white pepper.

Wine and food pairing

The spicy finish of gourmet lemon zest goes perfectly with a sea bass in a salt crust, a pomelo and prawn salad or a nice grilled gilthead sea bream.

Ideal tasting temperature between 10° and 12°C. Tip: Put your white wine in an ice bucket with water and ice cubes rather than in the fridge.

Once upon a time there was a domain...

Mr. Chapoutier

It all started in 1808 with the creation of Maison Calvet et Compagnie, located rue de l'Hermitage in Tain. In 1897, Marius Chapoutier joined forces with Rodolphe Delépine to found the Delépine et Chapoutier company. The wines are exported to Holland, Switzerland and Germany. Then in 1929, at the foot of the Hermitage hill, Marius created the new M. CHAPOUTIER winery. In 1937, Marius' son Marc took over the business. Today, with Mathilde and Maxime, a new generation joins Corinne and Michel Chapoutier to perpetuate the tradition of a family House.
