Humility is the cornerstone of the M. CHAPOUTIER spirit. Because only nature rules. The winegrower observes it, chooses and accompanies it with the greatest respect. “Fac et spera” (do and hope), which has become a family motto, is the simplest translation. When M. CHAPOUTIER acquires a new domain, it relies on those who created it and develops it with their know-how. The capital importance of the expression of the terroir, in biodynamics. Tillage with a minimum of intrans, without chemicals. To highlight the uniqueness of this terroir and enhance it.

This tool combining tradition and modernity, combined with the talent of the Cellar Master, offers wines of exceptional richness.

The Pic Saint Loup appellation, recognized as AOC since 2013, is one of the northernmost appellations in the Languedoc region, nestled about twenty kilometers north of Montpellier, in Hérault. This rich terroir with a continental climate is full of essentially limestone and marl soils. It is therefore no surprise that fruity and dense rosé wines emerge, for more than three quarters of the production, and fruity red wines with spicy notes.
