Grenache Noir, Syrah, Merlot and Cinsault

The best Provence Rosé for romantic evenings in.

This rosé smells as fresh and aromatic as a bouquet of red roses. With flavours of orchard peaches, apricots, tangy cranberry and a dash of lime for balance, this Provence rosé is just oh so tempting. Think sweet summer fruit salad, fresh and refreshing in the mouth with a perfect balance.
Drink with caution - this rosé might inspire the romantic poet in you.

    Appearance

    Pale salmon pink

An intense nose with notes of citrus and red fruits.

A flattering and aromatic wine with a nice balance; its refreshing on the palate and reveals aromas of apricot and peach.

    Food pairing

A wine that's best suited to the spicier side of life - I'm talking food here - like Szechuan chicken or a prawn penang curry.

    Serving advice

    Ideal tasting temperature between 10°C - 12°C.
Tip: Rather than putting your rosé in the fridge, put your rosé in an ice bucket with water and ice cubes.

    Vinification

Berne's Romance cuvée comes from a rich blend of expressive grape varieties, selected from plots in the Mediterranean basin, with a limestone soil. This cuvée was born from the desire to interpret our wines in an even lighter, fruitier and more refreshing way. With as much care as on the Côtes de Provence, their expertise is essential, from the selection of plots and night harvest dates, to the blending of grape varieties and careful packaging in a protective atmosphere. The preservation of colour and delicate fruity aromas is made possible by the use of neutral gases, (nitrogen), the maintenance of musts and wines at cool and controlled temperatures, and also the careful stirring of wines on fine lees.
